Embroidery artwork to use with your digitizing software is relatively easy to find and the entire process of turning the picture that you want into the pattern that you might like on clothing or household items can take just a few hours. Patterns of favorite flowers, cartoon characters, and many other items are available on the internet, with some available for little or no cost at all to be used with your digitizing software

Embroidery designs come in a lot of different formats. Each embroidery machine model can only read embroidery data in certain formats. You can tell what format the file is by the “file extension.” The file extension is the last three characters in the file name after the period.
